About Print Types

Canvas Prints
Canvas prints offer a warm, intimate and natural feel with a textured surface. They are stretched over a wooden frame, giving them a more traditional art piece appearance. Canvas prints are versatile and can be hung without any additional framing. I like the look of canvas for many of my photos particularly wildlife and environmental scenes.

Fine Art Paper Prints
These prints are made on high-quality paper with a textured finish, providing a classic and timeless look. Fine art prints are delivered unmounted to allow you to choose the perfect frame or mat for your space. Especially good for subtle detail, high-key images and black-and-white.

A Few Things to Know Before Ordering

Each Hidden Wilds print is made to order just for you, so all print sales are final and I’m unable to accept returns or exchanges.

Of course, I want your print to arrive exactly as it should. If it arrives damaged, has a printing defect, or you receive the wrong item, please contact me and I’ll make it right.

Please contact me as soon as possible and include a few photos of the print and the packaging it arrived in. If your print was damaged in shipping, has a printing defect, or you received the wrong item, I’ll arrange a replacement at no cost to you.

Please hang onto the original print and packaging until I let you know they’re no longer needed.

Hidden Wilds photographs are available as fine art paper prints and canvas prints.

Fine art paper prints arrive unframed and can be matted, framed, or mounted to suit your space and style. Canvas prints can be displayed as-is or added to a frame for a more finished look.

I carefully prepare each photograph for printing, but screens and prints are very different things. Your monitor, phone, or tablet produces light, while a print reflects it, so some variation in brightness and color is normal. Displays also vary considerably from one device to another.

Not every photograph has the same proportions as every available print size. Depending on the size you choose, a small amount of the image may need to be cropped.

I won’t offer a size if the crop compromises the photograph.

Every print is made to order rather than pulled from inventory. Production time varies depending on the print type and size, and shipping time is additional.

You’ll receive tracking information once your order ships.

Possibly! Not every photograph works well at every size or aspect ratio, but other sizes may be available. Contact me before ordering and I’ll let you know what will work for the photograph you’re interested in.
